Guitar Teacher Based in Fleet, Hampshire

I’m a Professional Session Guitarist and Guitar Tutor based in the South of England, specialising in Rock, Blues, Pop, Funk, Soul, R&B, Folk, Reggae and Improvisation on both Electric and Acoustic Guitar. I’m available for Guitar Tuition / Online Guitar Tuition / Live Performance / Recording Sessions / Dep Work.

I’ve been playing guitar since the age of 10 after I was given one of my Dad’s old classical guitars. I started off learning to play Oasis and Blur songs and gradually progressed onto players and bands like Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, Queen, Dire Straits, Fleetwood Mac and many many more!

I then went onto college to study Music Technology (HND) and Music Production (HND) where, as well as learning studio based techniques, I studied composition, performance, media, live sound, business and music law.

With over 20 years playing experience in a variety of bands, including national live radio airtime and recording work, I’m now a full time teacher and musician with a fascination for the new technologies that are changing the shape of electric and acoustic guitar music in the 21st Century.

The highlight of my career so far has to be meeting and playing with world renowned Guitarist Tommy Emmanuel who has been, and continues to be, a huge influence on my style and approach to musicianship.

Tuition

I have been teaching electric and acoustic guitar since 2004. My lessons are 1:1 and I also cater for online 1:1 sessions, both are available during the day, evening or weekends. I cater for all ages and styles of music from complete beginners through to advanced guitarist. I am also able to provide tuition for the Skills Award as part of The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award programme.

I am DBS checked and a Member of the Registry of Guitar Tutors

All my lessons are taught in a relaxed and friendly environment in my music studio based in Fleet, Hampshire or in the comfort of your own home via Online Lessons.
